Medikit: User defined paediatric formulary
User-definable paediatric drug Formulary
- After many requests from paediatritions, you are no longer limited to using the fixed paediatric drug doses that come with MediKit.
- A powerful new inbuilt database system allows you to define up to 80 drug definitions creating your own Paediatric Formulary
- This section has been designed to be able to handle almost any drug definition you can throw at it, including complex drugs with different age ranges, different dose units and different dose ranges.
- Drug frequency can be changed from UK terminology (od, bd, tds etc) to US (qd, bid, tid etc).
- Drug definitions are saved to disc, and can then be calculated effortlessly from the `Paediatric` section.
By copying the drugs file between different Psion computers (eg. using the infrared port), you can share your own (or your department`s) formulary with other MediKit users.
